写新的文章的时候，使用写选项子面板，控制你使用的界面。这些设置控制了WordPress包含的写文章子面板和可选择的通过电子邮件写文章的功能。

文章框的大小：选择你的文本框的大小，可以包含多少行。选择文本框的大小，并不会现在真正的文章的大小；如果你所写的文章比文本框要长，文本框就会产生下滚条。文本框较小，说明你的界面上所有内容布置地较美观，文本框较大，当你写很长的文章的时候，不用频繁地向下滚拉。

格式：你可以使用这些复选框，控制你的博客的一些格式。

将类似与:-) 和 :-P的字符图释转变为图形 –选中这个框，WordPress将你的文章中的所有的字符图释转变为图形。关于这个功能的更多的信息，请看看使用Smilies。

WordPress 应该自动地校正无效嵌套的XHTML –选中这个框，能够帮你确认，你所写的内容是有效的XHTML代码。因为无效的代码可能会导致浏览器问题，因此你可能会选中这个框。注：选中这个功能的时候，有的插件可能不能够正常地运行。

默认文章类别：你从这个下拉框中选择的类别，称作默认文章类别。默认文章类别，是在你没有为文章成功地分配其它类别情况下的类别。如果你有几个类别，但是更频繁地使用其中的一个类别，在这里选择这个类别，会使得操作更加简单。

默认链接类别：你从这个下拉列表上选择的类别是，你创建新的链接的时候，默认链接类别。如果你有几个类别，但是更多的将链接放到其中的一个类别中，请选择这个类别。

通过电子邮件写文章[ ]

你可以使用这个选项，设置博客将电子邮件发表为博客文章。要实现这一点，你要将电子邮件发送到一个特别的地址。你很可能需要你的网络主机或者电子邮件供应商的帮助。这个功能是完全可选择的，如果你不想要通过电子邮件发表文章，你仍然可以在写文章子面板发表文章。通过电子邮件写博客更加详细地描述了这个功能。

需要通过电子邮件发表文章，请填写下面这些栏：

邮件服务器：邮件服务器代表你接收电子邮件而且储存这些邮件，供你查看。你的邮件服务器有个URI地址，例如mail.example.com，你可以在这里输入这个地址。

端口：服务器通过使用端口110来接受与电子邮件相关的请求。如果你的邮件服务器使用的端口不同，请在这里输入端口。

登录名：如果，例如，你通过电子邮件发表文章的电子邮件地址是，wordpress@example.com，那么'wordpress'就是登录名。

密码：在这里输入上述的电子邮件地址的密码。
默认邮件类别：WordPress会将通过电子邮件发表到所有文章，归档到这个类别下。注：你可以在管理面板>管理>类别中创建新的类别。

更新服务[ ]
